Cognitive Neuroscience

Cognitive neuroscience aims to understand human thoughts, feelings, and behavior in terms of how they are realized in the brain. Much of this field of study relies on brain imaging technologies to study brain activity non-invasively. Cognitive neuroscience can provide deeper understanding, and guide our theories on how this complex and mysterious organ creates our conscious experience. Ultimately, we hope that cognitive neuroscience will aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease, better ways of teaching and learning, and help people live healthier and more fulfilling lives.
